The plan was to wake up today at 7:00 AM and leave my dorm around 7:30 to go to HP Performance in Orange Park (close to Jacksonville), where they would hopefully be able to fix the ( Read more... )

The problem wasn't the route, the problem was trying to find the 24 sign in the rain. As for the St. Augustine route, we take 20, don't we? I saw the small police station that we see while driving down 20. But that's not the route I needed to take, I needed to take 24.

lol, well, some of the signs tricked me. Going along University, right at the 13th street intersection, it says "20" and "24" and it's pointing straight ahead, so I thought it was one of those deals where it's 20 and 24 at the same time until up ahead. So then I got to that area where it divides, and the only options I saw were 26 and 20, and I was like, where's 24? So I took 26 because I knew 20 was the St. Augustine route and I remembered the mapquest map had a more northerly route. I figured I would eventually intersect 301, but after driving for a while and not intersecting it, I gave up and turned down 234 to see if maybe I had gone too far north. Had I stayed on 26 just a little longer, I would've intersected 301. On University, the turn for 24 is actually a little bit before the 26/20 division, d'oh! And then, on 20, I somehow missed signs for 301, right in the middle of Hawthorne. That would've saved me more time and mileage if I had seen it and turned there. lol, what a mess.
