The Archishop's Visit

Vladyka is fantastic. He is wise and gracious, with gravity and humor mixed together - very much the sort of old man I would like to be one day. It is a great blessing to have him as my Father in Christ. Oh, he looks EXACTLY like Gandalf. He'd have to be Gandalf the Black, given the monastic robes, but Gandalf nonetheless.

I second all of this, and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks he could pass for Gandalf. The Dumbledore from the first two HP films (not necessarily the book or the "more accurate" portrayals of the subsequent films) also reminds me of His Eminence.

Side note: Those possessing cassocks, where did you get them? Do you have recommendations? I borrowed one for today.

I borrowed one for my tonsuring, as well. I got my cassock from Khouria Krista West. She does top notch work; however, top notch work does come with a top notch price. That said, mine was worth every penny. (Make sure to get good measurements!)

Her website is http://www.kwvestments.com/.

Many years on your tonsuring!
