Of course we should catch up soon - I've been figuring you had the really tight schedule, so I'd wait for you to call. But we should stop waiting. :-D

dude, you are so not a jedi, you're from the matrix! now let's see you in action! :D
it's a nice cassok. I was wondering, in the Eastern Orthodox churches, do readers and deacons wear them too? becuase you only see priests wearing those in most Oriental Orthodox churches

I have another question... you spent most of your life in Egypt, right? did you grow up learning Arabic of did you have to learn it as a foreign language? because I want to learn to speka it, and not just speak a few phrases but speak it fluently and read it, God willing. I took an Arabic class this past semester and it was tough... the grammar terrifies me! Yet when I'm around Egyptians, it's much easier fo rme to pick up than in a class room for some reason-I guess because there is no teacher around to correct me. Was it hard for you to learn Arabic?

Cassock: In the Eastern Orthodox church readers and subdeacons have a blessing to wear the undercassock. Only deacons and priests (and of course bishops) wear the overcassock on top of the undercassock. There are specific greek and russian names for the different garments, but I forget what they are exactly. Oh, monks can all wear the undercassock as well. I'm not sure why there are two, but it probably has a little to do with colder temperatures in places like Greece or Russia, than in Egypt, etc. Probably naqerj or noetic_toe can explain it better than I can ( ... )
