Well, I'd been planning six chapters for my story, but it may end up with just three. I'll wrap up the story in the third chapter and just stop writing.

You need to join a writing group. There's groups where the members do read and offer advice on each other's work. Catch is-- you need to read their stuff in order for them to read and comment on yours.
