I don't have a kayak but I would happily rent or borrow one and go out with you this summer sometime! There's a nice small lake about five miles from our house here-- or on the Kennebec itself.

once i get my kayak moved to Maine, i'm hoping to have water access, too. :D so there will be a variety of places to take kayaks! and with Dave's mom belonging to LL Bean, a fairly cheap place to rent them from! (or purchase another, which we will also likely do, if we can get a deal and have the space). the issue, as always, is transporting them, but i need to work out a solution for that at some point.

Beth also asked me about kayaking. before the summer completely fills, we should all pick a day to go. i won't have my kayak this summer, probably (no place to store it here), but Beth has two and we could split the rent of a third if we go some place that rents them. :)
