Sooo, RE: Revelations was announced for the lineup of the new 3DS - it'll most likely be a launch game for the new handheld system. I am soooo getting it. In fact I went so crazy trying to scrounge up money for it (and the crapload of other fantastic releases that are coming out with it), that I scoured my bedroom for all extra change I could find

Admittedly I did think of Jill sandwich when I saw her standing between Chris and the Australian dude (his accent sounds Australian to me, hence "the Australian dude") who looks eerily like him. XD

Hmm...my first thoughts are Jill, Chris, and the Australian dude are after something, and they're at odds with each other to find it. Whatever it is, it must be something REALLY important (a virus? An anti-virus?) for Chris to turn on Jill.

Other thoughts: Australian dude looks like he's been either been tortured or beaten the crap out of. Jill has brown hair again (YAY!). Chris still has campy dialogue. Australian may be an antagonist but he doesn't give off an "arch-enemy" or "villain" vibe.

;_; I'd hate for them to turn on each other. RE5 was all about Chris' priorities changing all for the sake of Jill - she was even more important to him than fighting Wesker (which was basically his life's goal for the longest time)! It'd be so strange and a little OC for them to turn on one another just because of some... thing.

It definitely makes things interesting though. However, from a shippy point of view... :(

We'll see though. I don't think they'd make Chris and Jill kill each other. After all they've been through together... that'd be a wee bit ridiculous... though it seems to almost be the case in the trailer ;_;

And I do wonder about Chris' twinsie. I'm really intrigued. He sounded like Krauser, only Australian, as you said xD

Yeah, but honestly, Capcom's been writing their characters OOC since like RE4 so it wouldn't surprise me at all. :P

I doubt very much they'd kill each other. Something tells me Chris is being forced into his "alliance" (with whomever it may be), and I think he'd figure out away to save Jill while achieving his goal. But, we'll see. ^-^

Oh, I am too! I actually thought it was Krauser (I'm not completely convinced he's dead) until he opened his mouth. XD

I'm not sure what's going on tbh but yay for more Chris and Jill! I don't want to have to buy a new DS though... T_T

I really like your theory about Chris and Jill playing the guy in the chair (I call him "the Australian dude"). But he can't HUNK because HUNK doesn't have an accent (although it'd be way cool if it was HUNK!).

Not the one in Darkside Chronicals... the old school Hunk from RE2? Didn't he have an accent...? o.O Someone from RE had one! x.x Well, Hunk's gotta be involved anyway, even if he isn't the guy in the chair because who else wears the gas mask? :]

I'm even more curious now. In that opening scene, where you can the guy's face, an outline of his features anyway, he seriously looks like Chris' clone... maybe Wesker went postal on Chris' genes before he got to Jill... :P

I don't think RE2 HUNK had any spoken dialogue whatsoever, but UC HUNK and DC HUNK both had American accents. The only characters in the early games I can think of who had accents are Mikhail, Nicholai, and Carlos (who lose his accent half-way through the game XD).

Yes, HUNK HAS to be the guy wearing the gas mask! Since the game is called "Revelations," I hope he gets a much better part (maybe even...a MAIN ROLE?!) and gives us some juicy insight into Umbrella.

I am so camping out to get a 3DS, srsly. T_T

But YES, that trailer was one big mindfuck. I'm convinced that both Chrises are fake, because... yeah, there's no way he'd talk as condescendingly as he did EVER, let alone to Jill, and after RE5 especially, I'm convinced they'd never point guns at each other.

But more than that, lskdfjsdfs THE PART WHERE THEY'RE ALL BACK-TO-BACK, AND SHE SLIPS HIM A CLIP AND HE PUTS IT IN HIS GUN AND FIRES AND THEY DON'T EVER EVEN LOOK AT EACH OTHER OR SAY ANYTHING SKDFSDFS I. Was squeeing over that. Because I'm such a dork.

Can't wait, for real. ♥ I'm so glad to see that we get moar Chris/Jill so soon after RE5.
