This past Sunday, the Drawbridge was going to close for good. Apparently, the former owners ( the Deters ) were going to pass out the pink slips after the annual employee Christmas party at the hotel. A party I can't and refuse to attend - per the nocturnal hours the management has pretty much set upon me

That's good news Chris. If your new owner operates a chain of thousands of hotels then that means you can transfer to any one within that company usually. You might even be set up with some benefits as well as possibly a higher pay rate.
