its boring - but for different reasons... especially sitting on my ash so much... not good for me...

The sitting can be made not a problem; you just need to develop the habit of getting in some activity now and again.

The not-enough-time-with-friends is tougher, though... I rather think you'll have to put up with that (as so many of us are compelled to) and wait for things to improve. You're obviously not gonna be a slave to Time-Warner forever.
