that sucks man x_x i actually had to deal with my first blowout out of town headed to the beach on a busy highway. I drive a Chevy Colorado and im also big on GM. i use the jack that came with my truck but cant stand to use the wrench that came with it, so i bought a tire iron from advanced auto parts. id recommend doing that when you get a chance and just throw it in your trunk. as for a jack....dear god i didnt know the older malibu/classics came with a /scissor/ jack o_o about everything else about them suck except the only pro about it is that it can be put under very tight spaces

Mine's a 2003 Malibu, so I don't know that I'd call it "older" xD My first car was a 1981 Malibu, it also had a scissor jack from the factory, but, it had a fold out handle that was not attached to it, so that you could stand up and just spin it from there. The spare tire well is really deep in the Malibu, but, the jack and such are all stuffed under the spare tire's mount. So yeah, pretty tight quarters there.
