I got the pre-orders from Diamond (the main comic book distributor) yesterday for the first issue of the SUPEROSITY comic book, and they were much, much better than I expected they would be. Hooray!

Good news is nice to hear!

Glad to hear that the numbers are good!

It's nice to see that someone who has been working his cartooning butt off for years now is finally (hopefully) beginning to get his due...

More importantly, it rocks to see that a WEBTOONIST is making headway -- there are so few that do!

Expect an order from *me* as soon as I get my summer student loan set up! ^__^

I'm rootin' for ya, Chris!

Thanks, that's great to hear!

Oh, and I neglected to mention that BLACK PLAGUE #1 (Paul Southworth's hilarious superhero comic book) also did great pre-order numbers from Diamond and will become a bi-monthly ongoing title from Keenspot this fall. Look for BLACK PLAGUE #1 in stores on July 4th! (SUPEROSITY #1 will follow on July 11th.)

Am I evil if I don't buy these until ComicCon? Cause I'm a lazy bastard and it's more convienient. ;)

John:

No, you're actually LESS evil, because we make a lot more money per copy if they're bought from us at Comic-Con.

Way to go, Spot-founder-type-guy!!! Hey, does all this comic book malarkey and Premium-Keen stuff mean that Keen* is on the way back to becoming self-supportive financially once again? Fantastic! :D

I heard the good news from Paul... man, maybe I should make a monthly comic, but I'd have to give up one (or both) of my side-projects.

Thumbs up, soldier! I'm happier than a gamer with a GBA about the success of your comic endever, Chris. Keep up the great work!

I ordered all 6!
Yay!

AND I'm gonna get the book, too.

Actually, I usually don't read comic books. Weird, huh? Am I a freak for not liking most comic books? I like Superosity, though, and that DEFINATELY makes me a freak. Heeee!

Hey, Chris, if I order another set of your comics for my brother, who DOES collect comics, will you sign them? He actually has boards and plastic bags and things like that and tries to keep the humidity just right around his comics. He isn't as mean as Bobby, but he's not French, so you can see why he wouldn't be mean.
