Excel question!
Any Excel buffs out there?
If have a column of text, for example:
A
B
B
C
C
A
B
is there any way of totalling the number of each letter?
So I get A=2, B=3 and C=2 without a long formula?

Must sit down and read an Excel manual one day - it does so much that I don't realise that it does and I end up writing lines of formulas instead!
