free time = boredom.

you know, when I was working full time I had a routine down that at the time, I was unaware of. I used to read religiously when I was commuting, drink and eat healthily at set lunch breaks and finish the week with the excitement and satisfaction that I had worked my ass off and I could relax and enjoy the weekends ( Read more... )

I know what you mean! Lack of structure really does lead to a dip in your self discipline. When I have nothing to do (well, not that I can remember what it feels like at the moment, but anyway) I dont drink enough water and eat terribly. I'm an angel when things are a little more structured (in terms of eating healthily, anyway!)

Oh I cant wait till you get here! Especially since I didnt make it to Tokyo when I thought I would!!

You've got such a true point there, too much time is the death for every joy. It's only nice for a very short term. Maybe try to use this time to be productive though. I mean you could use it to improve your Japanese skills or grab some books you've always wanted but never had time to read.

well i have been productive. Ive been studying almost everyday and Im trying to keep productive with other things, its just, I think I definitely need a full time job. I think its just the person who I am. If i studied for the entire day I would still feel like im slacking off by the end.

I see. In addition to the money it's also a reason why I work pretty much besides my study. I just can't handle too much free time.

Btw, I first thought: "Wow, I didn't know anymore that Elton John was quiet good looking in his early years" but then I read the comments and saw that it's Justin Timberlake playing Elton. He's doing a damn good job in this video.
