Numbers 1 or 2 are the most legible ones. I would prefer number 1 because of the colour scheme.
I'm looking forward to that book. Tongue-in-cheek writing is my favourite, next to clear battle descriptions.

The cover where "Magical Crimes" blends from red to yellow (the fifth from the left).
I find it the most eye catching and readable.
