As I haven't posted here for some while - I've been away blogging every Saturday at Book View Cafe - I thought I'd post a snippet from a new story. It's a steampunk version of Jeeves and Wooster set a generation earlier in the Shadow Conspiracy world of 1903. Drat it, now I'm hooked. Nice to see you here again, Chris! But now I'll have to get the first one AND the next one. And I thought I'd finished rooting around in the couch-cushions for lost change...

I imagine we'll be putting 100 copies of the book into Librarything's Early Reviewer scheme, so you could always try and snag a free review copy there:)

Nice thought, thanks, but I'm not on Library Thing. I don't have enough years left to my life to make that kind of cataloguing of my library worthwhile to me.

Don't worry, I'll be getting the books anyway...
