i dissagree with your last one about society my grandpa didnt kill himself because society labeled him an outcast sometimes people can't take the pressure of society... yes that would be societys fault, but ultimately suicide is dependant on the individual
I kinda agree with Chris on this one, as much as I see your point. A lot of depressed, I mean the real depressed ones not the emo-I-wanna-be-kewl-so-I'll-cut-myself ones, teens actually have problems of being labeled, cut away, and pushed down by society. Sometimes it is what you stated, but for the growing rise of suicides its normally because the individuals no longer can withstand the amount of pressure and judgement(I'm not sure if that is actually the word I'm looking for) from others.
I'd try to explain what I am trying to state, but I'd have to use examples of people I know. Quite frankly, I don't want to bring their business out to others.
ash i acknowledged that in some cases society has driven people to means but responsibility still falls to the person i know other people, grown adults, who took their life, because they couldnt take it anymore. and it its not just society; their love lifes suck, their marriages suck, their jobs suck... you can't say those are societys problems either way they still have choices... there is zoloft and places that are willing to help people who are badly despressed
