Umm i wasnt looking for a healthy alternative.. I was looking for a good comfort .. coma inducing gooey goodness sandwich.. and the story that happened when I made it.

I have a different technique... with the sandwich press turned off, you take grated cheese and spread just the lightest scattering across it... a light touch is required here. Then you place several pieces of bread onto the cheese, ensuring the optimal arrangement before turning the sandwich press on and committing yourself to the arrangement ( ... )
