Talking about the game is part of the Metagame. The wider gaming experience from which we derive our enjoyment and our education. I feel the need to differentiate between the two. Some metagaming is necessary, for the feeling of being at play to be effective. I'm not against the idea, or the fact we need it. Just knowing when and where to draw the boundary between the two is important. Kind of a work/life balance for ludic events.
