Thanks. Have you seen the broadcast?

Also, I'm looking for the '98 Met tv broadcast. It must exist somewhere... there are parts of it on youtube. Met site says they don't plan to release it (grrrr), but maybe some people recorded it from tv back then.

have you listened to the cd where SImon Keenlyside sings Billy? Is it good? I think of buying it.

Oh, yes, I have it. He's wonderful. And it also has Philip Langridge (there will never be a Vere like him again :'(), and John Tomlinson, who's vocally the best Claggart I've heard so far. And add Hickox's conducting... that recording is very near to perfection.
