Ok, finally got through to a nice CS rep who admitted I had been overcharged £79.99 for my upgrade of last month and said she would refund me £69.99 of it. I queried (quite nicely, she was being helpful) why I couldn't get the other £10 back and she said she thought it had been credited back the previous month.
I said I didn't think that was right. She went back to last month's bill and... found out I'd been credited £79.99 and debited £79.99 on the same day but the credit had hit last month and the debit this so I actually did owe what they said I did.
Basically if I hadn't continued arguing they'd have given me £60 free money. Although since I do technically owe them £40 I suppose they can have it. It's not like I'm any worse off ;) :P
