Well, my little eleven-year-old Mazda is going to have to be retired, I'm afraid. It's going to cost $1500 to replace the oxygen sensors and the catalytic converter, both of which are toast. Thanks! Maybe I'll be able to scrounge a three-day weekend and come down to visit you guys! I'm bummed that the part time thing is gone, because I was hoping to be able to visit more often.

The exact same thing happened to me - pre buying my house, I was so invisible to car dealers I practically had to set myself on fire to show up on their radar, but as soon as I got in hock for $95,000, they gave me a $45,000 approval.

Crazyness. But yay new car!
