That is impressive organisation.

I'm enjoying my first coffee of the day. Good times.

How the heck are you guys?

Not nearly so impressively organized. I'm completely in awe.

It's the $38,000 surgery of which I'll have to pay ~ 20% that lit a fire under me, you know? Yikes. I need to know what I have, so I know what payment to negotiate with them.

Oh, I hear you. My insurance is thankfully better but my shoulders a few years back were over $50,000 and deductibles, co-pays and two years of three times a week PT added up. Thank goodness healthcare isn't broken in our country! /sarcasm

I'm just glad that you are okay and on the mend. Here's to a brand new year with no majory surgeries or expenses!

AARP is a major pain - I wish to hell they'd stop with the continual mailings, cause I'm over 50 and still not interested!

your organization is amazing - you're an example to us all

Aaaaah, they suck! You know, at this point I hate them so much for being such spammers of my snail mail box, that even if they were awesome (which they aren't) I wouldn't want anything to do with them.

And heh, my normal Virgo tendencies have been escalated by the upcoming surgery bills. Eeeek.

Dude, the gallbladder thing has got me scared straight. So to speak, heh. The pain of the attacks, ending in an emergency room visit, got me to quit diet pop, and lose a bunch of weight. And the glance at my Premera page at the bill sent me to Quicken to get my ducks in a row in a big hurry. Ack!

Good luck with dinner! I hope it's fun, even though it was short notice.

EVEN BETTER! finally getting my digestion sorted summer before last, after being terribly sick for months and months, prompted me to get my shit together in a whole bunch of ways, including getting off coffee, so i can only imagine what adding surgery on top of that would do!
thanks for you dinner well-wishes and suggestions. i totally helps! ♥
