prom is soon and i don't have a date. I don't want to go alone. I have asked around but nothing so far. But i guess if I have to go alone i will.

going by yourself isn't bad, actually, it's usually more fun. You don't have to worry about entertaining or making sure your date is having fun. Good luck on your plan you told me about. :)
