Yay! I also notice you want to teach high school?

I teach high school teens now, privately. ;p

I see many Obama supporters stereotype Clinton supporters as well. Since I live with one (my landlord) who defies some of the stereotypes, I am always conscious of this.

I would love to teach high school. That's my dream job. I was going for a BA in Secondary English Education, but the system (not the high schoolers) got too out of hand and too stressful, and I had to stop. I still hope to go back to it, but it was changing who I was.

And then I ran into a master teacher who called the French all pansies to his class and was told by my professor that it wasn't my problem and to basically just sit down and be quiet about it.

Way unacceptable there... that was the day I changed majors. I'm almost done with a BA in English - Technical Communications, which can pay a lot, so I do hope to be able to teach. Obama does want to make it easier to become a teacher, and I'll have two degrees and three minors, so here's hoping! ::crosses fingers!::

Yeah, any stereotypes are harmful. I'm very glad you're always conscious of it. While I have a hard time understanding why people could still support Clinton, I can still respect their opinion.
