i could prolly do the flying part. it's the taking off and landing that you actually have to know stuff for. i've seen it done... they let me ride in the cockpit on a flight once. they really only did stuff during takeoff and landing and if they needed to change altitude for turbulence. the rest of the time the autopilot just follows the programmed course. they showed me how to do the takeoff and landing stuff, but there was a lot to it. you have to keep the lines level and you can't see shit when you reach the clouds. it's like trying to swim through milk. it was kinda scary. and jetliners feel a lot more like buses when you are in the cockpit. you could feel every bump and jiggle. it kinda looks like a bus too.

he's a captain. they don't have regular routes though. it can change every month. he'll fly to pretty much any domestic location. (and canada)
