I love this entry tremendously. I feel the same way about really old people. I don't care if your doctor says you shouldn't eat something, if you've made it that far, eat whatever the hell you want. You've earned it.

Aww! I love that kitty!

And my girl cat absolutely loves this: the one where you cup your thumb and pointer finger around her face so her eyes pull back like a kitty with a Rodeo Drive face lift.

Why do they love that so much? You'd think it would be annoying or hurt.

Yeah, I don't get it either! But I hear it may remind them of their mothers' licking their head down as kittens. I looks exceptionally uncormforatble to me, she she must like it becuase her purr-moto goes from putputputptutput to ppppUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

i actually go: "FACELIFT!" when i do it, too.

I do it to the cat AND the dog (dog version requires two hands). In my family we call it "Psycho Eyes" because they get all crazy-eyed when you pull their faces back. There's even a song, but I won't sing it, because we're not related.

my theory is that cats like christmas tree water b/c it tastes more like nature.

haha, that's what my mother says also. It kicks in their "Hunter" instinct, as in "Human, look! I have located water! I found it all by myself!" I'm not sure, though. I think she just likes the piney flavor.
