So, I'm making a wedding cake. This isn't that strange; the list of "things I have baked and successfully served to other people" already has 4 wedding cakes and countless birthday/christening/whatever cakes on it ( Read more... )

I actually moved to my current place late in 2006, which means, not only did I pack up the frozen foods from my old apartment, which was ALREADY a year old, I brought it to my new apartment, where is has sat since I moved here.

I think that might be worse?

For me, the freezer is just a stop-off point for between not being ready to toss something and being (really) ready to toss something. Oh, and a place for ice. That is all.

my freezer is empty, except for a few boxes of cereal and the occasional single ice cream sandwich.

Yup. Check the box, it has a date on it. The kind I buy gets stale after a few months, and I don't eat it every day. Yet I buy it from Amazon in bulk for an incredibly cheap price and free shipping, so...
