Summer food

     So yeah, I just finished having a root beer float for desert tonight.  I realized this week that there are certain foods to me that say "summer:"  root beer floats, hot dogs and hamburgers from the grill, corn on the cob, watermelon, and breaded tenderloin sandwiches.   So yeah, those are just foods that scream summer to me.  I wonder what

Summer foods.... watermelon, sweet tea, kabobs on the grill, port a pit chicken, and root beer floats

Some of what is on both Chris' and Lydia's lists: sweet corn, watermelon and port-a-pit chicken.
To that I would add: real lemonade, homemade ice cream.
(and American-style lagers - summer is the only time they taste good to me - especially at the ballpark!)
