The M. Ward show was great the other night. It was just him solo, no band. And I wasn't expecting that. When we saw him at Webster Hall back in September he was with his band and they were great but he was very distant. I had a photo pass but it was before I had a good camera so the pics kinda sucked but that was ok cuz the experience of being

wow that's amazing the audience was so chill

and I saw Conor right before Death Cab at Bonnaroo. I must admit he wasn't nearly as bad as I'd sorely remembered him at Coachella 2004. Wait not that he's BAD, but honestly that Coachella performance was horrible! Maybe I just didn't have an open mind. I don't know, but my brother cousin and Jesse were like let's leave so we did. However at Bonnaroo (as you know last summer) I actually quite enjoyed him!

that's awesome you had a good show. And hey you don't have to be a Tori or Matt to be 'good'. I know this sounds lame or whatever but your heart alone makes you a tremendous person ♥

and please don't think I am mocking you or anything but I am serious. I think I have about every Muse album on my iPod (cause Jesse's a huge fan) and I want you to tell me what I should listen to first? (I'm gonna give another sincere effort again)

I would say Origin of Symmetry is their strongest album. There are a few tracks that really showcase Matt's ability on the piano. I appreciate you having another go at it. It's very dramatic and upbeat and hey, maybe it will get you jazzed on your runs :)

But if not, I understand and I adore you just the same. If you werent turned by seeing them live, maybe it's just not for you. I'm just in awe and in love with anyone who can manipulate an instrument, whether guitar or piano or anything, and get it to produce such sounds, and do that and sing at the same time and make me feel all tingly etc etc I'm such a dork I know :p
