It's been a while...

Wow. 35 weeks since I posted. I remember a time when I couldn't go a day without writing here. I've been lurking for a while. I mean it's not like I stopped reading entirely. I just didn't have a lot to say and what I did say has been recorded for posterity more on MySpace for the past year. I used to pour out my heart in this place and maybe ( Read more... )

To the guy I'm seeing now who's an audio engineer too. We were watching a movie called Hype! from '96 about the explosion/exploitation of the Seattle music scene and they were showing the Gits and I remember you comparing me once to Mia Zapata and that was like the highest compliment ever. So obviously it reminded me of you. Then I had to elaborate that we were the only girls amongst a sea of dudes at SAE and how I really miss that you were probably the only female I've ever known that I could talk gear and signal flow and music in general to and not only did you get it but you get it. Yeah.

It's good to see you back. I feel like part of my very own voice, expressed much better sometimes than I ever could or would, has returned.

Good hearing from you again. You're in Seattle? I love it there...got me some damn good memories from my time in Seattle.

And I understand what you're saying about trust; when people betray you it leaves you with the feeling that you're not safe. Listening to your heart is a wisdom thing and I think that you know this. It's our minds that lead us to believe in that which isn't real. But our hearts never lie to us. Although...we aren't always true to our hearts.

Yes, we are being observed- online and in 'real' time.

Are you still writing songs & singing?

Take care and please don't stay away another 35 weeks.
