Ryo watched as Yamapi roll back and forth as he slept. He was worried.
What's wrong with you Pi? I wish I could help.
Yamapi started sobbing and Ryo couldn't just lie there being helpless. He tried to wake Pi up.
"Yamapi, wake up! Yamapi! YAMAPIIIII!!"
Yamapi rolled over and tears continued to fall down his cheek.
"What's wrong Yamapi? Bad dream?" Ryo placed his hand on Yamapi's back and started to rub soothing circles.
"N..nn.. nandemonaii. . .I'm just scared Ryo-chan." Yamapi continues to sob.
"Scared of what? Oshiete . . ."
Yamapi grabbed Ryo and hugged him real tight. He continued to sob into Ryo's shoulder.
"I'm scared that i'll lose you. I'm scared that they'll make me let you go. I don't think i'll be able to bear it"
Ryo just held Yamapi all night, feeling the warm drops on his shoulder. He hugged him real tight, not wanting to let go. He was afraid that if he let go Yamapi would cry more. He didn't want Yamapi sad. On that moment, Ryo realized He's the one. I'm never letting him go.
Days passed and they managed to hide their relationship pretty well. They were starting to really make things work. Walking back to the dressing room, Yamapi saw Ikuta Toma, his best friend.
"Toma!! Hisashiburi! What are you doing here?!" However, Toma just stared at Yamapi making the young one feel shy.
"Nande? Is there something on my face?" Yamapi wiped his face expecting to find something.
"Iie, nothing there. However, I can tell you're in love. If i'm not mistaken it's Ryo right?" asked Toma.
"EEEEEEEEEHHHH??!!! Nani??!" Yamapi was just frozen in disbelief. As expected of his best friend, he really sees through Yamapi, almost like twins.
"I can tell Yamapi. Don't worry I wont tell anyone, but shouldn't you be telling kei-chan and the others? I'm sure they can handle that."
Yamapi frowns, feeling regret. NEWS was always behind him through all the times but he wasn't able to tell them.
"Toma. . .gomen. . ."
Toma held Yamapi's hand, "Don't worry about it. It's nothing really. I am just always here to support you and push you when you need it."
Smiling, Yamapi went to the dressing room to tell Ryo about it.
I'm sure they'll support us. NEWS are our friends. They'll be with us. YOSHHHH!!!
Toma smiled as he watched his friends back, be happy Yamapi. Toma held his hand out towards Michaela and left. Now that Yamapi has his destined partner. Shouldn't he have his also? Toma has never once had doubt that Michaela was the one. Just like Yamapi and Ryo they will do their best to make their relationship stronger.
"Ryo-chan!!!!!!!" shouted Yamapi as he opened the door.
"Nani Yamapi?" Ryo smiles his usual smile and leaves Yamapi breathless.
Before Yamapi lost his nerve and his power to control his thoughts he said, "I think we should tell NEWS."
"EH?! Nani???" says Kei-chan as he came into the dressing room. Shortly followed by the other NEWS members, all 6 members faced each other.
"You sure?" asked Ryo.
Yamapi nodded. "Etou. .minna, Ryo and I are now a couple."
Dumbfounded, the group started to laugh. "What type of joke is this Yamapi?" asked Tegoshi.
"Joudan Janaii!!" says Yamapi.
However, the group refuses to believe.
Ryo steps up and sweeps Yamapi off his feet and kisses him squarely on the lips.
"Ok. . there. . .believe us now? We told you this because we trust you guys."
Kei-chan laughed, "Arigatou na Ryo, Pi. Guys, let's just give them our blessings. They told us about them. Doesn't it mean that they trust us? Shinjiteru yo Ryo, Yamapi."
Shige stepped forward and said, "DEMO!! you both are guys?! Wouldn't that mean that you'r violating some kind of code here?! Besides what will Johnny do when he finds out. You'll just lose everything you both worked hard for."
Yamapi nodded and hugged Ryo. "Wakarimashita, I'm ready to risk it for Ryo."
"Minna, don't worry. I have already thought about it and Yamapi is what I want the most. He's the most important thing to me. I'm ready to lose it all for him."
The other three members were still frozen but they knew that deep inside their hearts, they were happy for Ryo and Yamapi. Besides, weren't they just made for each other.
"Don't worry about it Ryo-chan, Pi-chan! We support you. Actually, it's better that you guys told us already. After all, even best friends don't care for each other that much. You two are just special. Don't worry about Johnny and the others, just concentrate on your love."
Yamapi blushed at Tegoshi's comment. Just when Ryo was about to comment on that, the directors called for them for their final rehearsal. Their concert was fast approaching.
The members all left except for Ryo and Yamapi. Ryo hugged Yamapi from the back, "I'm really happy Pi. We already told NEWS and they supported us. I feel like everything is falling into places. By the way, why did you decide to suddenly tell them?"
"I saw Toma on my way back and he told me to do so. I've never really doubted his advices so I just knew that they'll work."
Ryo smiled, "Did you know why Toma was here? I saw him with a girl a while ago. I think her name was Michaela."
Yamapi laughed, "Typical Toma. I'm sure he loves her. ."
Ryo let Yamapi go, "eh??! How did you that?"
"Because he's my best friend. What happens to me, happens to him. Usually." Yamapi laughs at Ryo's jealousy.
"No need to be jealous Ryo-chan. What I was trying to say is that now that I've fallen in love, I'm sure he'll find his soon."
"I'm not jealous. I was. . .worried."
Ryo smiles again, leaving Yamapi breathless and unable to think.
Why did he have to be that handsome? How many times does this guy exactly plan to stop my heart?
