Another ordinary day, I just have to smile and take it in. Besides, Yamapi isn't bound to notice me. He has Ryo right? He'll never want me. Who'd want such a person anyway? Nothing on me is nice. My body isn't nice, I'm not as handsome as Ryo. I don't dance as good as Jin. Hell, I can't even sing!! How would someone like Yamapi like me? Muri dayo. . .
It started raining then, soaking Toma from head to foot. Not that he minded, the rain hid his tears. It blended perfectly. Since birth, Yamapi and Toma have always been together. They were like brothers but Yamapi became a big star. Toma was left behind. He felt as though God was punishing him for something.
As he walked towards the park, he felt those warm teardrops fall along with the cold droplets of rain. If only Yamapi was there. He always knew how to cheer him up.
"Yamapi. . ." whispered Toma.
"Otsukaresama deshita!" says Yamapi.
Finally I can go home now. I wonder what Toma is doing? I better call him to make sure. Demo. . .won't people think I like him? Besides, we are boys. How can I like him? Demo what's this feeling I get when I don't see him? AHHH!! MOU II!!! I'll just go home and sleep.
While going home, Yamapi couldn't suppress the urge to go the park. It seemed like it was just the right thing to do, but it was raining so hard.
His cellphone then rang, a familiar ring tone that only meant one thing, Toma was calling.
"Moshi moshi? Toma?"
"Hai, t. . .to. .toma desu. ."
"Toma, nande? Why are you crying? What's wrong?"
Your voice is so gentle Pi. Please just don't be nice to me when we can't really be anything more than friends. I just don't think I'll be able to bear it.
"Nandemonaii. I'm fine. I just needed to talk to someone. Are you busy now?"
"No, i'm not Toma. Where are you? I'll go there."
Why was I so worried? He was crying but. . .why did I feel like I wanted to cry too? Toma, what are you doing to me?
"I'm in the park, the one we used to play in when we were kids."
"I'll be there."
Yamapi ran as fast as he could. He didn't want to leave Toma alone. He was his friend. . .maybe something more.
Breathless and exhausted, Yamapi finally reached the park. He saw Toma sitting alone by the swing, probably still crying. Yamapi held his breath as he walked towards Toma.
"Pi, you came." Toma smiled even though his tears continued to fall.
"Baka, of course I would. Who'd leave there friends alone?"
Toma felt even worse. Friends. .is that all we'll ever be Pi? Can't I be something more?
They stared at each other while the rain continued to fall.
"Yamapi, do you remember when we were kids? We would always come here when we were sad and we'd always swing ourselves and pretend that there we're only two people in the world."
Yamapi stared into Toma's eyes and found the answer he was looking for all along. Toma. His prayers at night to find the one he loved was answered all along. Toma was there.
"Toma, I know this might be weird demo . . .ore wa. ."
What if Toma didn't like me? What if he'll just hate me. . .I don't think I can bear it. . .
"Nani?"
"ah. . .iie. .nandemonaii . .let's just go home it's getting kinda late."
No, I have to tell him now. If I don't Yamapi might just go to Ryo or someone else. I can't have that happen. Not now, not ever.
"Yamapi, matte. .I have something to say." Toma bowed his head as he repeated the lines in his head over and over again.
"Ore wa. .anata ga. .suki dayo. Since we were young I knew that I liked you, I was just to afraid to admit it."
Yamapi remained silent as he bowed his head down too.
"I know you're probably disgusted with me now? I'm crazy right? I'd better go now. I'll see you around then."
Toma turned around, his tears at the brim of his eyes, ready to fall and touch ground.
Yamapi pulled his hand back and pulled Toma into a hug.
"Gomen na, Toma. I was speechless . .and I still can't fix the words in my head. .my heart feels like it's about to explode demo all I can say is that. . Daisuki Toma. .Aishiteru."
Teary-eyed, Toma pulled Yamapi down and kissed him. . .
Toma's the answer. . .He'll always be my love. . .
"Demo. .I thought you liked Ryo. ."
Yamapi was taken aback and started to laugh. "RYO-CHAN??! hahaha! I don't like him. Don't worry about it."
"demo. . ."
"I said don't worry right. .We're not even a day old and your already getting jealous."
"WAH! I'm not!"
Toma was blushing like mad. Probably like a chili but what the hell as long as he's with Pi, he feels complete.
