"So, Michiyo-chan. .since you keep calling me Yama-chan! I'll call you Michi-chan!"
Michiyo rolled her eyes and said, "Michi-chan? HA! Is that the best you can come up with? Yama-chan is so much better than Michi-chan!"
Yamada laughed and said, "Ok, well. . uhm, I know. .i'll just call you. .My Michi-chan. See? Now it sounds better."
Michiyo felt the blood rush to her cheeks. No one called her as hers before.
"SOU!! , ok then! I'll call you My Yama-chan!" frowns Michiyo.
Yamada laughs and says, "I don't care. It sounds sweet. By the way, My Michi-chan, I have someone you should meet later. You'd be happy."
"hm, who is it?" asks Michiyo.
"It's a secret. If I told you it wouldn't be surprise."
Michiyo watches Chinen's car which is right behind them. When it turned left, Michiyo was shocked.
Maybe they're taking a shortcut.
"Ne, my Yama-chan, where exactly are we going?" Michiyo asks.
"Well, it's a surprise but i'll tell you one thing. We aren't going where Chinen, Rie or the others are."
Michiyo's eyes grew larger in surprise. "Then, where are we going?"
"If I told you. then it wouldn't be a surprise." Yamada concentrates on driving and doesn't even pay attention to the continuous whinings of Michiyo.
He played his favorite song, "Precious One" by KATTUN.
Michiyo was listening intently to the songs and unknowingly fell asleep.
I didn't think I'd go this far just for a girl I met not even a day ago. I only met you today Michiyo but I felt like I've known you for years. You didn't even try to impress me even when you knew I was a big star. You aren't like any other girl. How I wish it was easy to love.
Yamada stared at Michiyo's sleeping face. She seemed just like an angel in her eyes.
Yamada leaned in and kissed her forehead. "How I wish it was that simple to forget."
The traffic was just too much and they ended up staying two hours in the car. Yamada parked at a nearby parking lot and woke up Michiyo up.
"My michi-chan! We're here!!!! WAKE UP!!"
Michiyo opens her eyes and sees one of the biggest parks she has ever seen. "Whoahhhhh! Where are we?!"
"DISNEYLAND!!" Yamada smiles hugely and put on a pair of sunglasses.
"Eh?! Why did you put those on?" asks Michiyo.
"Etou. . it's for disguise. BAKA!" laughs Yamada.
"Right! I forgot about that. YOU are famous Yama-chan!"
Yamada pouts and stops walking. "Yama-chan?"
He does look cute when he pouts like that.
"Why? Didn't we agree on me calling you Yama-chan?" Michiyo nudges Yamada playfully.
"EH?! DEMO!! Didn't you say you'll call me my yama-chan?!"
Michiyo laughs really loud and Yamada couldn't help but join in, "You. . .you. .you pouted because I didn't call you mine?"
Yamada pouts more and walks away.
"Joudan! YAMA-CHAN!! I was joking!" Michiyo runs after Yamada trying to catch up.
"YAMA-CHAN!" shouts Michiyo but Yamada was still not stopping.
"MY YAMA-CHAN!!"
Yamada turns around and smiles at Michiyo. "Nani my Michi-chan?"
"Wait up." Michiyo runs up to him.
Yamada smiles at her and says, "I have a surprise for you."
"What is it?" asks Michiyo out of breath from running.
"Well. ." Yamada looks around and smiles.
"Come!" Yamada pulls Michiyo's arm and brought her near the fairy's wheel.
Michiyo was just about to utter a complain when she saw Akanishi right in front of her.
"Hey Ryosuke, what's up? It isn't like you to call me out to go to the park suddenly. Anything wrong?" asks Jin.
Michiyo's eyes were probably as huge as a ball and her cheeks as red as chili but AKANISHI was really there in front of her.
"Well, senpai. I wanted you to meet my friend Michiyo Nakajima. She came here to Japan to watch your show."
Akanishi turned to her and stared at her, "Michiyo? Nice to meet you."
Yamada wanted me to meet her? Why? Hmmm, he wouldn't normally call me up just to meet a fan. Is she special?
"Etou. . Michi. . michiyo desu."
Yamada stared at Michiyo and Akanishi as they both led the way.
I didn't expect it to be this hard. Why is my heart beating like crazy?! Damn! I haven't even known her for a day. What am I thinking?!
"Senpai! Uhm, I have to go now. If you can please just bring Michiyo to the jump house it'd be good for me."
"Ok then Ryosuke. Take Care."
Michiyo smiles at Yamada and mouths "THANK YOU!"
Yamada smiles at her and turned around to leave. Each step made his heart ache more.
I'm thinking too much. I better go home and sleep.
Yamada reaches the Jump house in a few minutes, luckily the traffic wasn't bad. He needed all the rest he could have.
Laying down on the bed, he couldn't even fix his thoughts up properly. Most were on Michiyo and what happened this day. Maybe there was something more but he didn't want to risk it. He'd seen his friends hurt before and well, there wasn't anything pleasant about it.
Michiyo. .Michiyo. .
Yamada soon losses his train of thoughts and falls asleep.
"MY YAMA-CHAN!! WAKE UP !! I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU!!" says Michiyo excitedly.
"Hi. .michiyo. ."
Michiyo suddenly felt a bang in her heart. "Michiyo?"
Yamada sits up and says, "Yup. Michiyo. You are my michi-chan right?"
"Ah hai!" Michiyo blushes.
"So what happened with Akanishi-senpai?"
Michiyo sits down beside him and smiles, "First of all, thank you my Yama-chan! If it weren't for you, my day wouldn't be perfect. Well, Aka-chan. . ."
Yamada cuts her off and asks, "Aka-chan?"
"Ah! HAI! He told me to call him Aka-chan since Akanishi was so long." smiles Michiyo.
"Sou. . .continue. . "
"Well, Aka-chan and I rode the fairy's wheel. We ate dinner and we talked a lot and on the way home, guess what?!" says Michiyo.
"Nani??" Yamada yawns.
"HE SAYS HE WANTS TO SEE ME AGAIN SOON!"
Yamada was shocked. What did that mean? Did Akanishi like her too? What about him? What about them?
A million questions flooded his head in an instant. He was really speechless for once.
"My yama-chan? Daijobu?" asks Michiyo.
"D . daijobu. .Omedetou na my Michi-chan."
Yamada grabs his blanket and puts it over his head. "Gomen my Michi-chan, I'm really sleepy."
Michiyo smiles at Yamada as she heard his breathing even out.
"Thanks for everything Ryosuke-kun."
Michiyo started to hum a little melody of her own. She stared at Yamada's sleeping form, still humming that little tune that always puts her to rest.
Unknowingly, she fell asleep beside Yamada, leaning against his shoulders.
