it snowed here today.

it makes me feel oddly nostalgic. the way people handle the weather here (they panic) reminds me of what an anomaly north dakota it is. and it really makes me miss it.

Meanwhile, I"m very cranky about the cold and snow. :) A guy I really like is performing Sunday night in Bismarck, but I don't want to drive in the winter weather. Many ND residents would think nothing of it.

Sigh.

Sometimes I think I don't belong here. I know I will/would miss it, too, and it's always nice to come back, but I do not care for the winter. :)

I do the same in cities. :) Sometimes the giant buildings scare me a little! Big, man-made mountainish things.

I feel the same, glad I left but nostalgic at the same time. I think it's a wonderful place to grow up.
