White gold or yellow gold for my promise ring? The price difference is small, so don't worry about that.

What is a promise ring? The answer to that question affects my preference:

I like white gold better, but yellow gold always seems more grown-up and official to me.

For us, the "promise ring" is like, a "we're going to try and date as long as we can and hopefully get married...but not for atleast five years or so" ring.
