So what is the difference between nightmares and night terrors? I'm sorry you had cause to research it.

LJ is so much better than FB. Stay here!

1) Well, I just searched for "ways to prevent nightmares" or something along those lines, and found that there is apparently a clear distinction between "nightmares" and "night terrors". Just quoting one random website: "Night terrors occur during NREM sleep, cause screaming and thrashing about in bed. Unlike nightmares theyare rarely remembered in detail.
Nightmares occur in REM sleep. They cause fear but rarely the screaming and other symptoms associated with night terrors. Nightmares can be remembered as well or badly as any other dream"

2) I like both...There's a lot of things I really like about the form of Facebook, especially with mobile-phone integration for fast and easy recording of things. LJ definitely has lots of merits though, and I'll probably start using both more, when I have a little more free time!

Yeah, that's definitely different and something I miss as well, in what seems to be the almost complete exodus to Facebook. I also just know far more people on Facebook which is both a pro and a con...
