commitment is liberating only when it is returned. it's crippling when it's not. the chance of crippling is often too scary for people to fully put themselves out there.
And the irony lies in the fact that commitment is actually very liberating. Amen Christian. And I totally agree Chris. And I love the word crippling. Because that is exactly what it feels like when it isn't returned. The sad thing about humans is sometimes we think we know all the facts in a relationship when sometimes we really don't. Thats why you can't put your trust in people. And I just want to say Christian that you are one of the most beautiful sincere and intelligent people I know. If everyone had your honesty and compassion it would be a much better world.
