To my Mom

My Mom died on January 29, 2007, I wrote this for her, it's actually a song, but I know that you guys will appreciate it.  I miss her so much, I got my love of music from her, and she taught me so much in my life, I love her very much.

Peace in Heaven

The mourning is painful, but the light I can see
Of my God I'm so fearful and his love comforts me

blitz, I can't believe I never saw your post in christianpoetry. It appears no one else did either. Very strange. There aren't too many of us that visit here, but people do pop in from time to time. Somehow you were overlooked.
It,s been a whole year now ... you've made it a long way. I actually came in here today to post a poem about time passing after a calamity and found your beautiful song.
Do you mind sharing how old you are? I mean a teen ager or full adult? Losing a Mom you are close to is hard at any age.
I hope this is a good year for you ... I know God has worked in your life all year.
