Here's a question for you. There is an event hosted by your university/school/company/anyone where there is dancing or drinking or whatever. Where everyone is invited and there is probably a cover charge. What is this type of event called ( Read more... )

Yeah, those are pretty much the only names I've ever used/heard to describe them. "Cabarets", pfft, that just sounds (pardon me) gay. I'd be afraid to go to wone.

cover charges usually indicate keggers here in the states.. but i'm not sure how they do it up in canada.. heck, there's a lot you all do differently (don't get me wrong, i love canadians!) oh and here at gonzaga, the priests bless the kegs.. (no joke!)

Man, you'd think that would be like... against the christianity rules, or something. I've never heard anyone (other than on tv) call one a 'kegger', but hey, I guess that's what the next couple years of university are for.

the priests are celebate, so they drink a lot to make up for it? one thing i know is that they NEVER have to pay cover charges.. grr.. what school are you planning on going to? (oh yes.. you'll definitly learn alot in college, hehe..)

I'm in my first year at Brandon University. I'll be here for two (or three?) more years, and then it's off to med school. Hopefully.
