Wallpaper Challenge 1

Oct 27, 2008 12:09

Because I'm unsure if the majority of whomever would be participating uses PSP or PS (or something else for that matter), I don't want this to be exclusive to either program. Hence, things like PSDs and Brushes (unless they're with an image pack) will not be linked to for the duration of these challenges.

That said, the first theme for the first wallpaper challenge shall be:

Monochrome

From our friends at wiki:

For an image, the term monochrome is usually taken to mean the same as black-and-white or, more likely, grayscale, but may also be used to refer to other combinations containing only tones of a single color, such as green-and-white or green-and-black. It may also refer to sepia displaying tones from light tan to dark brown or cyanotype (“blueprint”) images, and early photographic methods such as Ambrotype, Tintype and Daguerreotype, each of which may be used to produce a monochromatic image.

From answers.com:
The state of being in a single color.
A picture, especially a painting, done in different shades of a single color.

When entering for this challenge, only a link is necessary, you needn't post the actual image. When making your wallpaper, resolution, images, etc. are up to you so long as the end result fits the theme.

Any questions, just ask.
