So true - I remember reading once on a dog forum someone complaining bitterly that their once loyal and faithful companion was now a rubbish 16 year old dog that the vet refused to put down, was having some toilet accidents. And someone very succinctly replied - that after 16 years of loyalty - the least you can do is wipe his ass.
