Number of spiders eaten in sleep: indeterminate, but likely to be plentifulfervid_dryfireApril 13 2006, 08:36:16 UTC
BUT MY DOG ISN'T A SPIDER! HE'S CUTE!
That made me smile. =D
I wouldn't use the word "cute" to describe a spider either, but I do think they're pretty cool; they kill pesky bugs, and aside from spinning webs in occasionally inconvenient places, they stay out of the way. And so few of them are actually poisonous or otherwise dangerous.
...and underneath all of that, I also must admit that I find it a tad creepy when I watch a tiny wolf spider scampering across the carpet towards me- makes me kinda think of the face-grabbers from those Sigourney Weaver flicks for a second. >;-D

I sit here and wonder where that spider ran off to... I don't mind if he never comes back. She? No matter. I'm glad you understand how I feel. I'm sorry they don't make you happy. Death to spiders. (The ecosystem can find a new way to continue its cycle without them.)
