You know the awesome thing about dating another aspie? We can ramble on and on about stuff and not have to worry about boring the other. ^_^ The other day, Damien was going on for about 20 minutes about Pokemon, about some of the individual pokemon, differences in the Japanese vs. the American version of the movie that introduced Mewtwo, and how ( Read more... )

Totally Partly off topic, and I'm not sure if you're one for makeup, but most of the eyeshadows I own are named after Pokemon =P The English version of the Pokemon TV show is really cheesy, but in an awesome way =) I haven't seen the Japanese version, so I can't compare.

"I hope you don't talk about things like that when you're dating some day"
I don't know why people make statements like that. I love listening to people ramble on about things; I learn so much when that happens! I'm glad you found someone so compatible =D

Actually, I hate the Pokemon TV show, haha, I just really love the games and the movies (particularly the original Japanese versions, which most of the movies I have are, starting at the fourth one, I think... I can't find the first three in Japanese ._.)

Although... one time... I downloaded a Japanese episode with Absol that wasn't even SUBTITLED and WATCHED THE ENTIRE THING. xD

MAN I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR COIN COLLECTION. ... also I'm sorry I'm still not there yet. WHY DOES LIFE HATE ME.

I know what you mean.

Even when someone's talking about something that I'm not especially interested in, I love it when they really go into detail - I love the precision, the intensity, the caring about accuracy and detail.

Whereas I always find it a bit disappointing if someone is talking about something in a vague sort of way but can't give any details when asked - in fact they usually seem quite surprised at being asked for details at all! (Of course, if the topic does catch my interest, I can always go and google it later.)
