okay. I've been a customer at tmobile since I was 16. so going on 6 years. never been late with my bill, never had my phone cut off, never lost a phone, never bitched to them about anything, ever. drew and I upgraded our phones something like two years ago. They CAN waive the upgrade fee. They are lying to you. Call back, and if you can't get someone who will waive it, ask to speak to someone who can.

If that doesn't work, tell them you want to terminate your service and they will transfer you to the "Saves" Department, who will almost surely waive the upgrade fee.

oh yeah. I know that as soon as you say you're done with them they always do whatever it is that you want. no matter WHO you're dealing with. I just hate being "that" customer, you know?

I mean, do you think that I'm being completely ridiculous?

like I said, it's not like they've been cutting me deals for years even though I've been late on bills and stuff. the last time I called about seeing WHEN I could upgrade at the end of the conversation the guy was like, "hey, I've noticed that you've been a model customer for a long time and I'd just like to say thanks!"
