Thankful Thursday

What a difference a week makes.   After several months without work,  offers are now coming in.

First of all,  I was thankful that I heard the answering machine at 6:55 a.m. on Tuesday.   I staggered out of bed to discover that a school for the severely disabled had a large staff absentee crisis (11 aides and 2 teachers couldn't make it to work).   ( Read more... )

Lots of good things are happpening for you!

Even if I had liked my high school, I don't think I would have dyed my hair gold and blue. Nor would I have been allowed to.

Same here. :>) Mine would've been gold and red (if I'd had any school spirit).

I don't care for teal, but my grandmother loved it.

Being around the kids made me thankful for those things I take for granted: being able to walk, talk, feed myself, etc. It really puts things in perspective.
