Reflections on turning 40
Yes, on Saturday I will be 40. It's been a crazy 4 decades, and sometimes I'm kind of sad that I didn't find certain things earlier in my life, like being a librarian or writing, but then I realize that those things happened in their own time, when I was ready for them and not before.
