 So, we have come to an agreed price on a house in Avondale. It’s a 3 bed, 2.5 bath with a rather large back yard. In the future, I may look into it being Historic as it was built in 1940. Anyways, we are in the process of getting a letter of insurance, getting an inspection done, finishing off loan paperwork, and checking on utilities. Yes, Kelli

I have gotten the distinct impression on more than one occasion that you think people who spank their kids are bad parents. I have spanked my kids when they needed it. That is all.

I am also proud of your parents for figuring out what was best for them and sticking with it even though it was unpopular. Your parents did lots of things right with you.

Parenting is an intensely personal thing, and there are as many perfectly valid and reasonable methods of child rearing as there are parents.

And I have unintentionally given that impression. I mean, I realize I give it off but I guess its from numerous debates on the topic. I guess I'll just say: Children grow up healthy and stable from parents who are consistent, just, and caring. Whether you use physical punishments or not, that is a very obtainable outcome.

You know that I think you are an amazing mother. I think you have amazing kids. However that came to be worked.

I'm proud of my parents for taking a road less traveled (that also could be of great benefit to their children). I also like the fact that I was never spanked (though I spent my share of time in corners).
