NaNoWriMo

Oct 07, 2007 12:57

Gods, I haven't used LJ in months. Pity.

Just a quick note that I have just signed up for NaNoWriMo, I am looking forward to that!

Now I am curious: is anybody of my flist participating too?

I am a bad bad LJ-user, sorry for the short entry.
Be well, Christina

Hey Sub! How are you? I haven't used LJ in months either, except just after HP7 to be part of the madness :) How did you like it? I can't remember if I talked to you at all on Fiction Alley after the book came out. I've been so distant from the internet this past year it seems.

It's so awesome that you're doing NaNo this year! I'm trying again this year. I signed up last year and, well, I didn't accomplish much. However, my workplace is still on strike as of right now, so I might still have loads of time on my hands come November.

Are you excited? Do you have anything planned out? I've got a couple ideas that I like but I can't decide which I'd be more likely to stick with. I have no ability to commit :)

Good luck on your story!!! I'm sure it'll be wonderful :)

Hi!!! I'm good, how are you? What's going on in your life? Omygosh, are you married yet? I am sorry, I lost track ( ... )

I'm doing very well. I'm in the Philippines right now; I'll be leaving for home tomorrow and I'm quite excited about getting back to my own bed. I got married two months ago, just before we left for Asia. It was quite nice. Now we just have to figure out where we're going to live... :P Speaking of which, how is your new flat? You moved a couple months ago, didn't you? I hope you are happily settled ( ... )

Well, then congratulations on being married! I am sure it was fantastic! So, how does it feel to be married? :) Have a good and save trip home!

My flat is great, you were right, I moved here in August. It's big and very pretty. Our heating system is with ovens, we actually have to light a fire! Very cool and rustic, but I love it.

Ceresse's username is Ceresse or Carissa, I think. Maybe she's participating again, we should have a look! Only problem is, the site is quite slow and I couldn't log in for two days in a row, I wonder if that'll get better... My username is Marie Vaillant, that is a pseudonym I have been using for years. :) I'll definitely find you, I am happy that we'll keep in touch!

Really, you understand German? That's so cool! Almost none of my overseas-friends actually know that Austria is a different country than Germany, let alone know how to speak German. I am very grateful we have to learn English in school, it opens so many possibilities and it's a wonderful language.

See you at NaNo! :D

I haven't been on LJ much either

School just keeps me busy...extremely busy

when I saw your post I was like I know that NaNoWriMo is about writing but didn't know much about it so I looked it up and from the sound of it is very exciting. I might try it next year when things aren't so hectic (or atleast I hope not) and it will give me a time to plan something ;)

I hope things are well with you and good luck with your story!

Hi Mousey!
I know too well myself that school can keep you busy... I hope it'll be better soon!
Why don't you just try NaNo anyway? I know everyone should reach their goal of 50,000 words, but maybe just to get the hang of it, you could try it.
I am looking forward to NaNo and thanks, things are well here. How about you? Besides school, I mean?
Looking forward to hear from you, bye!

You know I might just do that... I need to brainstorm a bit though its been awhile since I've wrote anything for fun. I think I just saw the goal and it seemed like a lot at first and I don't like committing to something that I won't be able to finish...but I guess even if I don't finish it by their deadline atleast I can say I attempted it. Haha since your comment though I've been thinking more and more about NaNo so I might just sign up
Thank you :)

Things are going. I feel sometimes that I'm everywhere all at once. Even the days where I schedule days to just take a break...my family interfers with some day trip or another, sometimes I can get out of those just so I can stay home and read a good book all day. But other than being tired, things are good atleast for the time being :)

Hey, that's great! I am glad you'll try anyway. To be honest, I want to just try it myself- I have no idea if I'll have enough time to finish the 50,000, but I really do want to try. Don't forget to tell me your username! :D

Oh my, your life really sounds busy. Poor you! When will that period end, do you know? I hope really soon so you can relax and do things you really wanna do. Good luck with everything!

Hey, Sub! Just wanted to say hi and wish you a wonderful new year. I was going to message you on NaNo but then I realized that November is over. Are you still working on your story? I've tried to continue a bit but I'm getting busier at work.

Since neither of us use LJ much anymore, here's my e-mail address so we can keep in touch better: alais.courcel [at] gmail [dot] com.

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and that 2008 brings you great things!!!

Superglomps, mierette :)
