About a year ago, I said that I would stop driving if gas ever reached $3 a gallon.

Now it has, and no one seems to even have noticed. Go figure.

In my area when I first started driving gas prices were NICE, at something like $1.70 a gallon or below. Which, considering how bad things were before last spring, was freakin' awesome. Now it's up to something like $2.40 and I dread having to go to the gas station everytime I fill up. :( But yeah, I guess things could be worse, as in your area.
