Wow. 38S? Did my 44S jacket fit you okay last year? You never said otherwise...

And to answer your concluding question, I think it means you need to do a winter overnight or even a weekend.

I did it again. That was me, but I'm pretty sure you knew that based on the jacket thing. This was easier when you didn't allow anonymous comments.

That's probably why, even though we look somewhat like we have the same build, I can get away with wearing Medium or sometimes even Small t-shirts, and you have to wear larges. You're bigger around at the ribs and shoulders.

As of last December yes, your 44S jacket fit me OK, if not perfectly. Better than buying that stuff while I was still on the way down.

Yeah, sleeping outside in lean-to's is great, even in the winter. Much better than a tent in my opinion.

Luckily, we can keep the windows open like 10 months out of they year, so we get some of that on a nightly basis. Actually, I don't know if we turned on the A/C since you visited. What a weird weekend that was for weather.

In response to both you and Brian in regards to winter camping...the Bangor crew has been talking about doing a big winter camping trip for years, but thus far it hasn't materialized.

What's stopping us? It's not like we're super busy in the winter or anything...

I'm glad that it shouldnt' be too frigid this weekend though. I remember 2-3 years ago, sitting around the campfire literally wearing my winter sleeping bag in order to keep warm. I'd rather not repeat THAT!

Brian, you're bringing your portable radio, right?
