I can't make it, as you know... but I think I can help in one way.

Disassemble the sofa bed. Or at least remove the bed part. That way you're carrying out most of the weight in a smaller (and hence more maneuverable) package.

Just an idea.

I think I'd need a chainsaw in order to cut it up enough to throw out the window.

By the way, I'm going to start lugging small stuff like boxes of books over on the afternoon/evening of the 5th, if anyone is terribly bored and wants something to do (I took the afternoon off).
